CONTENT MARKETING SERVICES TORONTO

They say content is king, and it has been for some time now. This is not going to change. Why is content so important? It tells your brand's story. It positions you as an expert in your field. And it helps with your ranking on Google.

People are no longer interested in hearing sales pitches from companies. They want to connect on a deeper level with brands that they buy from. Content helps you do this.

Whether you want to start a blog on your website to help SEO efforts, draft a press release to get some media attention, or develop engaging stories for offline pieces, I can ghostwrite for you.

With over 10 years in the industry, my pieces are well-written, meaningful and cost-effective. Let me help you develop a content strategy today.

Does a Small Business Need a Blog?

Every time I broach the subject of a blog for one of my website clients, I usually get the same response: "I don't have time for that!" Yes, yes, I know, blogging is cumbersome; however it is extremely important for SEO efforts to have fresh content on your website at all times.

If I told you it was near impossible to get onto Google without having a blog (or regularly updated content), would you still pursue the idea of a website?

Perhaps, if you felt you had enough business already and were able to direct your customers straight to your site. But unfortunately for many businesses, they need customers, which means they need to be on Google.

Google is the be all and end all. Back in the 90s a number of search engines came on the scene (aol, Yahoo or Ask Jeeves, anyone?), but ultimately, Google was the one that triumphed. Why? Because they provided relevant and helpful information to their customers. Google knew that if they were customer-focused, they would succeed.

Think about your own personal experiences. When you need information, where do you turn? Google, probably. Google is constantly looking for information to show people who are searching for it, which means it can be an easy win for you to get in front of people...if you have the content they're looking for.

Unfortunately the web has evolved and there are billions of websites out there, which means there's more competition than ever. You can't just expect to launch a website and have it show up on page one. You need to prove to Google why you're valuable to users. Without content, you're probably never going to get found, so you should make blogging a top priority. While it can be time-consuming, it also has zero cost - if you have the time and talent to write.

Blogging opens up so many doors. Not only will you help your SEO efforts, you'll also position yourself as a leader in your industry.

If I were to recommend just one thing to boost your SEO efforts, it would be to write one new blog a month. Of course, if you don't have the time, you can always get in touch!
